Family and friends will honor Edwin's life by gathering at the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home North Shore Chapel, on Saturday, March 2nd from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
Edwin Aldrin Cordon was born July 25, 1969 in Guatemala to Mercedes Haydee Garcia and the late Hugo Rolando Cordon and was a dearest brother to Hugo Cordon Jr. Since the age of 16, he worked alongside his father during the day and continued his studies at night. In 1986, he met his beloved wife Dina Lisset Cordon (Morales) and married in 1991 where soon after they welcomed their first born Michelle. At 22, he joined the National Reserve of Guatemala and was a part of the neighborhood's soccer team. In May of 1995, they made the courageous and difficult decision to start their new journey in the United States where Andrea and Nathalie were then welcomed. To spend time with Edwin (Aldrin) meant that you would be filled with laughter and joy. He had a distinct whistle when you heard it you knew it was him. His favorite things to do were spending time with his family surrounded by good food, music, and dancing. Edwin had a heart of gold and was never short of helping people in need. He had a wonderful sense of humor. He lit up the room and was the life of party. The joy of his life was being the adored "Papa" to Jayden, Alexa, Adrian and Nathaniel.
