Edwin "ED" Tyrone Mobley, a cherished member of his community, passed away on April 2, 2025, at the age of 62. Born on September 2, 1962, in Shreveport, Louisiana, Edwin was known for being kind hearted, quiet, soft-spoken demeanor and for being an intelligent, easy-going, and being a laid-back soul.
Throughout his life, Edwin developed a passion for building, fixing, and tinkering with projects, showcasing his skills and creativity in ways that inspired those around him. His contributions to both his family and the community will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.
Edwin is survived by his siblings, Roger (Abby) Mobley, Darion Mobley, and Carmen (Bill) Taylor. He is also remembered by his nieces and nephews, Bridgott (Dennis) Underwood, Randy Underwood, Monique Honeycutt, Ian Folks, Chance Draper, Daxton, Hazel, and a host of other family and friends who held him dear.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Searcy and Marie Mobley, and his sister, Donella Ann Mobley. Edwin’s legacy of kindness and his gentle spirit will continue to resonate with all who were fortunate enough to know him.
