Bennie David "Benjie" Mobley, Jr., 50, of Mooresville, IN, formerly of Griffin, died Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at The Waters of Martinsville. Born in Griffin, February 12, 1975, he was a son Bennie David Mobley, Sr. and Debera Jean Long Shirah. Mr. Mobley had worked at Gray's Restaurant for the last seven years and had formerly worked for Ann and Bills in Forest Park for twenty years. He was an avid fisherman. Surviving in addition to his father of Barnesville and mother and stepfather Willard Thomas "Tommy" Shirah of Griffin are his brother, Thomas Benson Mobley of Griffin; nephews, Lawson, Hunter and Dalton; maternal grandmother, Doris Long of Thomaston; girlfriend, Jennifer Spears of Mooresville, IN; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services for Bennie David "Benjie" Mobley will be conducted Tuesday at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Griffin Memorial Gardens.
