Edwin Earl Everidge

Edwin Earl Everidge, 83, of Elizabethtown passed away Tuesday August 12, 2025 at his residence with his family by his side.

Edwin was born in Letcher County to the late Ishmael and Martha Jane Kiser Everidge.

Edwin served in the U.S. Army, he was a Electrican for the CXS Railroad, he was a loving husband of 64 years, a father, and grandfather. Edwin was an avid fisherman, Golfer, and he loved to work with his hands in woodworking.

In addition to his parents, Edwin was preceded in death by several brothers, and sisters.

Edwin is survived by his wife of 64 years, Phyllis Kincer Everidge of Elizabethtown, two daughters, Rhonda (Doug) Wilhite of St. George, Fl. and Rebecca "Becky´( Eric) Wilmoth of Hodgenville, four grandchildren, Eric Trenton (Michele) Wilmoth, Levi Chase Wilmoth, Wade Lucas Wilmoth, and Carl Douglas Wilhite, one brother, Richard, (Martha) Everidge of Shelbyville Kentucky, one sister, Eva Davis of Ohio, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services for Edwin Earl Everidge will be 12:00 p.m. Friday August 15, 2025 at Valley Creek Baptist Church, with Brother Scott Kerr officiating, burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation for Edwin will be Thursday August 14, 2025 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the William R. Rust Funeral Home Hodgenville Chapel and visitation will continue after 9 a.m. Friday at Valley Creek Church until time of service.

William R. Rust Funeral Home Hodgenville Chapel is in charge of services.
