EDWIN CARL HILL, 84, beloved husband of Mary Kelley Fulmer Hill, passed away suddenly Wednesday, April 2, 2025.

A native of Lake View, SC, Edwin was a son of the late William James and Nell Edwards Hill. He graduated from Lake View High School and went on to graduate from Newberry College. He honorably served in the United States Army Reserves and the South Carolina Army National Guard. In the mid-1960's Edwin moved to Aiken County and began a 33 year career at the Savannah River Site, retiring in 1999 as Senior Metrologist.

In addition to his parents, Edwin was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary DeHart Hill and two sisters, Lois Evelyn Nance and Mary Grace Hall.

Surviving is his wife of 28 years, Mary; son, Edwin Todd Hill (Trina), Sugarland, TX; daughter, Wendy Hill Hunt (Eric), Ashburn, VA; step son, Rocky Fulmer (Pam), Aiken; step daughter, Terri DeMasi (Bob), Aiken; grandchildren, William Baylor Hunt, Madison Elizabeth Hunt, Mary Eloise Hill, William Langford Hill, Jason Fulmer (Jennifer), Trent Fulmer (Miranda), Karly DeMasi; great-grandchildren, Eli Fulmer, Emersyn Fulmer, Cameron Fulmer, Judson Fulmer and Josephine DeMasi; a sister, Geraldine Rutland, Lexington, SC.

The family will receive friends Tuesday afternoon, April 8th from 1:30 until 2:30 PM at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home.

The Funeral Service will follow at 3 o’clock from the graveside in Southlawn Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be directed to a favorite charity.
