Edwin Hollwedel Obituary
Edwin Hollwedel passed away in his home April 2024 at the age of 75. He is survived by his Wife Susan Hollwedel, his 3 children Edwin Hollwedel, Christine Hollwedel, and Christopher Hollwedel. His son Edwin's wife Kari Hollwedel. As well as his step sons and their wives Nicholas and Beth Bassimakopoulos, and James and Amanda Bassimakopoulos.
Edwin was a Marine Corps Veteran, avid bird watcher and fisherman, as well as a huge NY Mets and NY Jets fan. He was quick witted and extremely intelligent and never sugar coated anything which he was appreciated for especially by his best friend Jake Cavelli.
His family asks for donations to help cover the end of life costs. Edwin's remains will be spread at sea so he may fish for eternity and search the sky for birds.
We thank you in advance for your donations no matter the amount as we are overwhelmed with his sudden passing. Donations can be made to the family's GoFundMe page by clicking here.

I just found out about Ed. He was in my dream last night so I looked him up. I am so sorry to see that he passed. Ed was a good guy and was always good to me as a boss and most important a friend. We had some fun times fishing so I'm sure he's out fishing now.
