Edwin McCullough Keener

Edwin M Keener III peacefully passed away on Thursday, August 22nd after a nearly 2-year battle with pancreatic cancer at the age of 76. He was surrounded by his high school sweetheart and wife of 55 years, Cathy, and his two sons Ed (Carrie) and Jim (Anne). After graduating from the University of Notre Dame, Ed followed his love of aerospace engineering into the aircraft engine business. Over the course of his engineering career, the family lived in multiple places along the East coast and Buenos Aires, Argentina before working at GE and settling in Loveland, Ohio. After retiring from engineering, Ed taught high school physics at some GCL high schools, including Archbishop Moeller, where his sons had attended. In retirement, Ed and Cathy (Papa and Mimi to some) have enjoyed spending time and traveling with their 5 grandchildren Sam, Julie, Dan, Brian, and Mia. A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 7th at 9am with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton (5890 Buckwheat Road Milford, OH 45150). Private internment will be held at the convenience of the family.
