John H. Evans Funeral Home - MilfordBilly Harold Grammer, a cherished father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away on January 31, 2026, at the age of 92. Born on October 23, 1933, in Grandtower, Illinois, Billy lived a life marked by devotion, warmth, and community spirit.
Billy's journey brought him to Milford, Ohio, where he made a lasting impact through his commitment to the Milford Christian Church. He took great pride in serving as a Deacon and later as an Elder, reflecting his deep faith and dedication to his community. His spiritual contributions were complemented by his love for travel alongside his beloved wife, Patsy, as they explored the beauty of 84 countries together, creating a tapestry of memories that will be cherished by his family.
An avid gardener, Billy found joy and solace in nurturing the earth, bringing forth life in both his garden and the hearts of those around him. His athletic spirit flourished in his youth as he played basketball and baseball, pursuits that carried him into later years as an umpire, where his love for the game continued to shine. He worked in sales with Imperial Adhesives from 1968 until 2003.
Billy leaves behind a loving legacy through his daughters, Kim Marshall and Jan (Bob) Stall . He was a proud grandfather to Stephanie Stall, Cristina (Sean) Standridge, Bryan Grubb, and Lance (Brandlynn) Marshall, and a devoted great-grandfather to Jordan Lindner, Marley Standridge, Joey Grubb, Jamey Marshall, Morgan Alexander, Kellan Standridge, and Millie Marshall, sister Karolyn Bishop. Billy was preceded in death by: his wife Patsy Grammer, son-in-law William "Randy" Marshall, brother Michael Grammer, and parents Charles and Esther Grammer.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Billy's remarkable life and the profound impact he made on all who knew him. A visitation will be held on February 20, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Milford Christian Church, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. Burial to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Milford.
As we gather to honor Billy's legacy of love, service, and joy, we reflect on a life well-lived and a heart that brought light to many. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
Memorial contributions in Billy's name may be given to your local hospice group.
