Edwin Lemus Obituary
Edwin Francisco Lemus, passed away suddenly on November 8, 2025. He is survived by his beloved wife Elizabeth Lemus; his precious son Andres Leonardo Lemus; his parents Elsy and Milton Lemus; his cherished siblings Melanie Lemus and Jose Lemus; his proud grandparents Margarita Vasquez, Oscar Chavez, Leonor Guadron, and Julio Lemus; his dear parents-in-law Fernando and Maria Olmos; and his dear sister-in-law Andrea (Scotty Linares) Olmos. He is the best husband, father, son, brother, grandson, son-in-law, brother-in-law, nephew, cousin, colleague, and friend to many who will miss him deeply.
He joins in Heaven his uncle Antonio Chavez.
To his son Andres, Edwin is the best Dad on the planet. He was also the world's biggest Barcelona fan.
Friends and family will meet for visitation on Thursday, November 13, 2025 from 4PM-8PM at Warren Funeral Home, 1475 N. Cemetery Road, Gurnee, IL. The funeral mass will take place on Friday, November 14, 2025 at 10AM at Holy Family Church, 450 Keller Avenue, Waukegan, IL. Interment to follow at Warren Cemetery, Gurnee, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations in Edwin's name to his family would be deeply appreciated.

Le sobreviven su amada esposa Elizabeth Lemus; su querido hijo Andrés Leonardo Lemus; sus padres Elsy y Milton Lemus; sus adorados hermanos Melanie Lemus y José Lemus; sus orgullosos abuelos Margarita Vásquez, Óscar Chávez, Leonor Guadrón y Julio Lemus; sus queridos suegros Fernando y María Olmos; y su querida cuñada Andrea (Scotty Linares) Olmos. Fue el mejor esposo, padre, hijo, hermano, nieto, yerno, cuñado, sobrino, primo, colega y amigo para muchos que lo extrañarán profundamente.

Para su hijo Andrés, Edwin fue el mejor papá del mundo. También fue el mayor hincha del Barcelona.
Familiares y amigos se reunirán para el velatorio el jueves 13 de noviembre de 2025 de 4:00 p. m. a 8:00 p. m. en la Funeraria Warren, ubicada en 1475 N. Cemetery Road, Gurnee, IL. La misa de funeral se celebrará el viernes 14 de noviembre de 2025 a las 10:00 a. m. en la Iglesia de la Sagrada Familia, ubicada en 450 Keller Avenue, Waukegan, IL. El sepelio tendrá lugar a continuación en el Cementerio Warren, Gurnee, IL. En lugar de flores, se agradecerían donaciones a nombre de Edwin para su familia.
