Edwin "Scott" Lyon, a beloved husband and cherished friend, passed away on November 8, 2025, at the age of 65, at Walker Baptist Medical Center in Jasper, Alabama.
Scott is preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Janet Lyon, and his sister, Mary Lyon. He leaves behind his devoted wife, Darnell Lyon, and his loving stepdaughter, Katelan Kilgore (Ethan). He is also survived by his brothers, Roger Lyon and Mark Lyon.
An avid sports fan, Scott loved the Cincinnati Reds and University of Kentucky basketball. His love for sports was matched only by his joy for working outdoors, particularly enjoyed while riding around working with his tractor.
Scott’s life was marked by his warmth, humor, and kindness. He will be deeply missed by all those who were fortunate enough to know him. His legacy will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
