Edwin Mojica

Edwin Mojica age 79, passed away on August 31, 2022. He was born in Yauco, Puerto Rico on February 28, 1943. He was the beloved son of the late Aurea and Erasmus Mojica. Edwin was the loving father of Banessa Mojica and Jessica Troche and her husband David. He will be also sadly missed by his grandchildren Audrianna, Isaiah and his cherished friends in New York City. Edwin was the brother of Cesar, Lily (Edwin) and the late Alcadio, Hector, Crisol, Raymond, Catalina, Ana-Elba and Luisa.
Edwin loved his island of Puerto Rico and city Yauco, Baseball and especially the New York Yankees. He owned taverns in New York City when he was younger, he always loved New York City. He was known to help people when they were down on their luck. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed to tell jokes. He loved a good meal in City Island, a cold Coronita, a game of Dominos, Salsa music, playing the lottery and cars. He was very grateful for his daughters caring for him in the last stages of his life. The family would like to thank, Dr. Chamaise, Dr. Gattorno and Dr. Otto of Woodhull. Dr. Singular, Dr. Sokol, Dr. Kerr and Dr. Nocovich of Jefferson Health Torresdale and finally, to our amazing Sister, Holly Figueroa's compassion, knowledge and strength through our journey.
