Edwin Javier Oliva passed away peacefully on February 11, 2025, at the age of 33.
Born on April 14, 1991, to proud parents Jorge Oliva and Graciela Sanchez, Edwin's vibrant spirit and infectious laughter brought joy to all who knew him. Edwin was the cherished brother of Leslie Oliva. He was the beloved grandson of Juana Ramirez, Carlos Sanchez, Marina Gomez, and the late Isidro Oliva. His extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and a multitude of friends will fondly remember him as a beacon of light in their lives.
From a young age, Edwin had a knack for working on cars, a skill that he honed with passion throughout his life. His expertise and dedication led him to a fulfilling career where he was known for his meticulous work and friendly banter. Edwin also spent time as a delivery driver, a job that allowed him to share his outgoing nature and sense of humor with the community.
Edwin's interests extended beyond his work. He was an individual who lived life to the fullest, always seeking to make others smile. His sense of humor was unparalleled, and his friendly demeanor made him a friend to many. Edwin's ability to light up a room was undeniable, and his laughter was contagious.
Those who had the pleasure of knowing Edwin would describe him as funny and friendly, a man who could effortlessly brighten a dull moment. His presence was a gift, and his memory will continue to inspire laughter and warmth in the hearts of those he touched.
As we bid farewell to Edwin Javier Oliva, we invite friends and family to honor Edwin's life by gathering at the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga Street, East Boston, for a memorial visitation on Saturday, February 22nd from 9:00 A.M to 11:00 A.M. A prayer service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Services will conclude with Edwin being inurned at Woodlawn Cemetery Columbarium, Everett.

Edwin Javier Oliva falleció tranquilamente el 11 de febrero de 2025, a la edad de 33 años.
Nació el 14 de abril de 1991, hijo de los orgullosos padres Jorge Oliva y Graciela Sánchez. El espíritu vibrante y la risa contagiosa de Edwin trajeron alegría a todos los que lo conocieron. Edwin era el hermano querido de Leslie Oliva. Fue el amado nieto de Juana Ramírez, Carlos Sánchez, Marina Gómez y el fallecido Isidro Oliva. Su familia extendida de tías, tíos, primos y una multitud de amigos lo recordarán con cariño como un faro de luz en sus vidas.
Desde joven, Edwin tuvo un talento especial para trabajar en autos, una habilidad que cultivó con pasión a lo largo de su vida. Su experiencia y dedicación lo llevaron a una carrera satisfactoria, donde era conocido por su trabajo meticuloso y su charlas amigables. Edwin también trabajó como conductor de entregas, un empleo que le permitió compartir su naturaleza extrovertida y su sentido del humor con la comunidad.
Los intereses de Edwin iban más allá de su trabajo. Era una persona que vivía la vida al máximo, siempre buscando hacer sonreír a los demás. Su sentido del humor era incomparable, y su actitud amigable lo convirtió en amigo de muchos. La capacidad de Edwin para iluminar una habitación era innegable, y su risa era contagiosa.
