Edwin Thomas Reilly Jr.

Edwin Thomas Reilly, Jr, 82, of Stuart, Florida, passed into heaven on Saturday, October 11, 2025 with his loving family by his side.
Eddie was born to the late Edwin and Lucile Reilly on April 3, 1943 in Memphis, Tennessee. After the war ended, the family returned to San Antonio, Texas. Edwin graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1961 and from St. Mary's University earning his Master's degree in Finance. He married Victoria Orlando in December, 1964 and they resided in San Antonio, often spending weekends with their children in Rockport, Texas. Later, they relocated to Rockport and finally to Stuart, Florida.
Edwin was many things professionally as an avid entrepreneur, including a manufacturer of walk-in coolers and freezers, a home builder, and a mortgage consultant. Privately, he enjoyed boating and fishing for many years and even built three boats himself. His true passion was flying and he was a private pilot for many years, enjoying his time in air over both San Antonio and south Florida.
Edwin was devoted to Jesus, serving as Eucharistic minister and was a member of the men's group at St. Joseph Catholic Church for several years. He was an avid student of the Bible and read it each night. He happily served our Lord and the Catholic Church with all his heart.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Victoria and two children, Martin and Jill, and his grandson, Lukas Michael, and many nieces and nephews. Edwin is preceded in death by his son, Alex Edwin.
A memorial service will be held at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church at 10am on Friday, October 17. He will be laid to rest in San Antonio in a graveside service at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery before Christmas.
