Edwina "Winnie" E. Lucco, nee Sheldon, 75, of Belleville, IL, born Thursday, April 14, 1949, in Cape Girardeau, MO, followed her husband into heaven, Thursday, May 9, 2024 at St. Paul's Home in Belleville, IL.
Ned enjoyed spending his time outdoors enjoying a good game of golf. He especially treasured the time he had with his beloved fur baby, Jesse. Ned and Edwina loved to spoil him.
Edwina was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She had a talent in interior decorating, designing her homes beautifully. Edwina enjoyed swimming and lounging in the pool to relax.
They were preceded in death by Ned's parents, George and Harriet, nee Brent, Lucco; Edwina's father, John Edwin Sheldon; Ned's brother, Richard "Dick" Lucco; their nephew, Michael Stadelman; and beloved fur baby, Jesse.
Surviving are Edwina's mother, Ethel Ellen, nee Rodgers, Sheldon; her sister, Kayla (David) Stadelman of Belleville, IL; Ned's sister-in-law, Valerie Lucco; his nephews, Zach (Tracy) Lucco, Drew Lucco, Jeff Lucco, Chris (Chelsea Hotmann) Sanchez; and several relatives and friends from Texas, Edwardsville, IL, Webster Grove, St. Louis, and southeast and Salem, MO.
Family would like to express a special thanks to their adopted family, Dee and Sat Patel, and their children, Roma and Shaun Patel.

Memorials: Memorials may be made to the Metro East Humane Society in Edwardsville, IL, Shriners Children's – St. Louis, MO., American Cancer Society, and The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Disease.
