Efenia O. Hunt, We'll known as "Love" left this world peacefully on Friday, August 29, 2025 at home surrounded by family at the age of 69. A cherished mother, devoted friend, and a compassionate soul who loved God. Love's presence enriched the lives of all who knew her.
Ms. Efenia was born on Friday, September 9, 1955 to the late Willie Oxendine and Irene Locklear Oxendine, in addition to her parants, she was proceeded in death by her husband of 35 years: Jackie Hunt and a brother: David Oxendine.
She leaves to cherished her memories a daughter: Julie Ann Hunt of the home and a son Jackie "Papa" Oxendine of Maxton, one sister: Lori Ann Strong husband David Strong of Maxton; three brothers: Jimmie Oxendine, Tommie Oxendine, and Terry Oxendine all of Maxton, A special sister-in-law Ms. "Deena" Maudina Brandt and a host of other relatives and friends and friends
Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM Thursday, September 4, 2025 at Faith Assembly of God in St. Pauls, Pastor Thad Davis and Pastor Terry Oxendine, officiating. Burial will follow in the Preston Cemetery in Maxton.
Visitation will be from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at Boles Funeral Home in Red Springs.
Service has been entrusted to Boles Funeral Home in Red Springs.
