Effie Mullins, 102 years old of Jonancy, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, July 30. 2025 at her residence. She was born on December 16, 1922, the daughter of the late Clark and Margaret Thacker Hamilton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Anse Mullins, by a grandson, John Gregory Fields, by eight brothers: Burt, Millard, Raymond, Clark Jr., Earl, Clyde, Clarence and Smith Hamilton, by her sister, Nellie Newsome and by four sons-in-law: Rick Hatfield, Ralph Elkins, Ronald Young and Delaney Bowling.
Effie was a homemaker and a member of the Caney Creek Regular Baptist Church. Effie joined the Regular Baptist Church 75 years ago.
