Effie was born November 12, 1961, in Kansas City, MO. Through her life she mainly lived in Texas but having a father who served in military she also lived in Florida and overseas in Germany during her younger years. Effie worked in several different facets of service from waitressing, children's church choir director, daycare teacher, camp food service and retail sales. Her heart was to serve and help others whenever she was able. She devoted her life to her family and to her faith. She loved nothing more than spending time with her children, celebrating life's little moments, and creating beautiful memories for the holidays. Her home was always filled with warmth, laughter, and love. She had a special gift for crafting and decorating, and she poured that love into everything she made, from handmade ornaments to thoughtful gifts, she made every holiday magical.

She also had a joyful spirit and a passion for beauty and fashion. Whether she was trying out a new skincare product, picking the perfect outfit, or sharing her favorite beauty tips, she always glowed from the inside out.
