Eileen V. Buffone (O’Connell) passed away peacefully on August 5, 2025 following a brief illness. Eileen was born in Brooklyn, New York on November 12, 1946 to the Late Isabelle and Charles O’Connell. She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Daniel and her husband Gerald the love of her life. Eileen is survived by her children Lisa, Son-in-Law Robert, Gerald Jr, Daughter-in-Law Christine and her 3 Grandchildren Sean, Kayla and Tyler as well as her sister Maureen and Brother-in-Law Joseph and numerous Nieces and Nephews. Eileen while being a wife and mother of 2 decided that wasn’t enough of a challenge and started her 30-year career at New York City Transit in 1981. While she worked days and her husband Gerald worked nights they somehow found away to stay married for 44 years with many laughs and some tears along the way. Eileen will forever live in our hearts and minds and not one day will go by that she is not thought of and missed. We love you Mom give Dad hell and a huge hug from all of us when you see him again.
