Eileen Carpenter Obituary
Born on September 30, 1948, in Little Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Wilmer and Oramae (Snell) Lampman.
Eileen Carpenter had a passion for life that was evident in her varied interests. She loved the thrill of finding a treasure while garage saling, making every meal a memorable event by dining out and cultivating a beautiful habitat in her flower garden. But what truly filled her soul was the time spent with her family, most especially her beloved grandchildren.
Her daughter, Robin Colby; brother Carlton Snell; grandchildren, Autumn Brooker (Joshua Moses), Joshua Brooker, Justin Brooker; and great grandchildren, Shane Calhoun Jr., "Boo", Jazalyn Moses, Jayliana Moses, Harper Brooker, survive her, cherishing her memory and vibrant spirit.
Eileen was predeceased by her first husband, Clyde Colby, second husband, Jeff Carpenter, longtime companion Richard Swart Sr., daughters Bobbie Jo and Candi Lynn Colby, brother Donald Lee Snell, grandchild, Paul S. Brooker Jr., and great grandchild, Elena Rose Moses.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date to be determined by the family.
Interment will be in the spring at Evergreen Cemetery, Fonda, NY.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Eileen's memory may be made to the Brennan Humane Society, JABMHS, 437 Nine Mile Tree Road, Gloversville, New York 12078. (https://www.pawsforyou.org/page6.htm)
Arrangements have been entrusted to A.G. Cole Funeral Home, 215 E. Main Street, Johnstown, NY.
