Eileen Neff (nee Henderson), 78, passed away in her sleep during the early morning hours of 3 September 2025 after a prolonged battle with cancer.
Eileen was predeceased by her parents, Joe and Marge; her husband, Thomas J Neff, and her brother, William "Bill" Henderson. She is survived by her son, Thomas "TJ" Neff IV (& wife, Shannan); her sister, Mary-Jean Pielack; her brother, Robert "Bob" Henderson; her grandchildren, Hope Neff, Gavin "Chibi" Horstmann, Joe Hart, Kyle Hart, Tori Adams, Josh Snyder, Nathan Greer, and Noah Greer; her great-grandchildren, True, Eamonn, and Honoria; her nephew, Matt; her stepdaughters, Carla Adams, Erica Snyder, and Katrina Greer; and her cats, Max and Belle.
Eileen loved fitting as many adventures as possible into her life. Whether traveling the world with Thomas, learning a new language, trying new cuisine, or going line dancing with friends, she was a beloved friend who loved with every fiber of her soul.
Services will be held at Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Crownsville on Monday, 22 Sept at 2:30 pm followed by an internment with Thomas.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for any donations be made to the Humane Society, or Public Broadcasting Service of your choice, as Eileen loved animals and watching MPT mystery or travel programs with her daughter-in-law.
The nightly ceremony in Washington, D.C. will be dedicated in honor of your loved one on the day of your choosing.
