Eileen Krak Obituary
She is preceded in death by her brother, Peter J. Baxter, and her husband, Pete Krak. Survived by her children, Sue (Jeremy), Steve (Marla), Kathy (Doug), Jean (Barry), and her grandchildren, Amanda, Nick, Bradley, Aaron, Kristen, Mary, Joey, and Alex, she was well-loved by everyone who knew her.
Born in New York City, she moved to Ohio to attend Ohio Dominican University (St. Marys of the Springs). While studying to become a Registered Nurse, she met her future husband. Eileen was a Registered Nurse at OSU Hospital for 30 years and a huge Buckeye fan. She adored her family and would do anything for them. She was a consummate professional and respected by her peers. Eileen will be remembered for her beautiful smile, compassion and empathy.
Visitation will be held at 9:30 A.M. on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 313 N. State Street, Westerville, OH 43082 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 A.M., Rev. Fr. Daniel Olvera, celebrant. Burial will follow at Pioneer Cemetery, 865 S. State St, Westerville OH 43081.
Flowers may be sent to St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church or in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ohios Hospice of Central Ohio, 2269 Cherry Valley Rd, Newark, OH 43055

She would tell me to stop teaching Jean how to do a raspberry when she was eating her baby food. She taught me how to make good Johnny marxetti She said I was the best babysitter she ever had. She told me about German potato pancakes that her mother-in-law used to make but never got the recipe. She always had the warmest personality and always a smile and I'm so sorry I didn't call her
