Eileen Kegney Moore, 69, of Vero Beach went home to the Lord on February 7, 2025.
She was born October 21, 1955 in Albany, New York to Beatrice and Jack Kegney. She had been a resident of Vero Beach, Florida for 37 years, coming from New Jersey. Eileen graduated from John Dewey High School in Brooklyn, New York. She married Michael Moore in May of 1986.
Eileen Moore worked as an assistant to the produce manager for Kroger for 25 years. She always shared they were the best years of her life. She truly loved all her colleagues and vendors. Her nickname at Kroger was the "Watermelon Queen". Eileen was an avid supporter of animal welfare and supported local animal organizations. She leaves behind her beloved cat, Lenie which was a rescue from Raining Cats Rescue, Inc.
Eileen is survived by her husband and multiple nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and all her siblings.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
