Eileen Neiler Obituary
After graduating high school in Conemaugh, PA Eileen enlisted in the U. S. Marine Corp proudly serving from 1944 to 1946. When people thanked her for her service she always responded, "My country and my duty to serve."
She was a long-time resident of Oak Ridge and volunteered with many community organizations including but not limited to: The Girl Scouts, the Children's Museum, ORCMA, Ridge View, UT Arboretum, United Way of Anderson County, Tennessee Citizens for Wilderness Planning and in early Oak Ridge years several Garden Clubs and the Oak Ridge Beautification Committee.
Eileen is preceded in death by her husband John H. Neiler Ph.D.
Surviving her are her three children: Morgen Biehler, Lise M. Neiler and Eric Neiler.
The family would like to express special thanks to the staff and residents of Viva Senior Living for the excellent care and friendships she received during her many years in residences.
