EILEEN FRANCES RAYNE

RAYNE, Eileen Frances (Reilly) Of Rockland, formerly of Quincy, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family. She was 80. She was born in Brighton to Elizabeth T. (McHale) and Patrick J. Reilly. She grew up in Brighton and graduated from St. Columbkille High School. A devoted matriarch and loyal friend, Eileen possessed a quiet strength that was beautifully balanced by her sharp wit and warm sense of humor. Beloved wife of 57 years to the late Michael Kirwin Rayne. Devoted mother to Michael K. Rayne (Kristen) of Quincy, Kim Marie Moran (late Bernie) of Pembroke, James P. Rayne (Wendy) of Westport, and Stephen Rayne of Rockland. Adoring grandmother of seven grandchildren. Loving sister to Patricia Clifford of Braintree. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Elizabeth T. (McHale) and Patrick J. Reilly; and siblings, Theresa O'Donnell, Rev. Thomas J., Maureen E., and James Reilly. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the Visiting Hours on Thursday, October 9, 2025, from 4-8 PM, in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM, on Friday, October 10, 2025, prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann's Church, Quincy, at 10 AM.
