Eileen Joann Ullmann, age 82, died on Wednesday July 10, 2024 at Denver Health. Born in Meadow Grove, NE on July 3, 1942, and not in a barn as her kids liked to tease her about. After High School she attended Nursing School in Chicago, Il.
Eileen’s career spanned over 40 years in the nursing field from the operating room to hospital administration. Her presence in the operating room and hospitals impacted the lives she served and worked with. She lived in many places across the country over the years, but home was always Denver. Since her retirement several years ago, she enjoyed traveling, camping, drinking red wine and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of more than 20 years Joseph Raisch, 4 Children; Debbie Arnold (Jon), Dan Ullmann (Breanna), Dennis Ullmann (Melissa), Doug Ullmann (Rebecca), 12 Grandchildren; Kalen Walecka (Jerika), Devin Walecka, Alex Walecka, Josh Ullmann, Taylor Ullmann (Michala), Eastlyn McMahan (Kevin), Kylah Voight (Ethan), Ealah Ullmann, Abby Ullmann, Lila Ullmann, Jeff Ullmann, Malyn Ullmann, and 2 Greatgrandchildren; Jacek Walecka & Koval Walecka.
She is preceded in death by her Parents; Martin & Martha, Son; Steven, and two siblings; Lois and Lester.
Funeral Services for Eileen will take place at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Denver, Co. on Saturday July 20, 2024, at 1 PM. 700 S Franklin St., Denver CO, 80209 sjdenver.org. In lieu of flowers, please send a memorial donation to one of the four organizations that she was passionate about: The Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod, Shepherds Canyon, St. Jude’s Research Hospital, or the Susan G Komen Foundation.
