I know your deeds. See I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know that you have a little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name." Revelation 3:8 Friday, October 4, 2024 during the dawning of a new day, God and His omniscient divineness chose to pick a radiant flower from the garden of earthly life and carry our beloved angel of the family, Eileen Elizabeth White to her heavenly home. Eileen was the second oldest child born on November 25, 1968 to the late Cecil Days White and Ruby Hicks-White in the Bucksport Community of Conway, SC. Eileen's values were that of godliness and a peacemaker. She delivered spiritual growth and awareness with righteousness and merciful purity from the heart. The love of her life was a young man by the name of Donald Jenkins. They dated for 15 years and were blessed with a Princess as a daughter, Courtney Jenkins. Eileen was a devoted mother to her daughter, her jewel. They shared a deep emotional bond and Eileen had unconditional love for her. Eileen took special joy in nurturing and caring for her two grandchildren, Carter and Chloe. Throughout the course of her life, education was a priority. Eileen began her formal learning in Horry County Public Schools, graduating from Conway High School in 1987. In 1997 she started her career with HGTC Registrar Office and in Wavenet Central as of now, Tech Central. While also teaching as an adjunct instructor, she further advanced her schooling at Horry Georgetown Technical College where she received an Associate of Arts Degree in 1996, and became a Professor from 1994-1996. She provided the highest quality of education and care to her students with compassion and empathetic advocacy. She brought her students comfort with her ability to listen and understand their concerns, treating each student with respect and dignity. Additionally, Eileen studied Medical Clerical Assistant, Automated Office Assistance and Secretary of Science. In 2005 she received a Bachelor's Degree from Coastal Carolina University for Interdisciplinary Studies. She continued her education at Capella University from 2006-2010 and received her PhD. Eileen's strong work ethics continued at Horry Georgetown Technical College as a Central Coordinator Specialist and Adjunct Professor in Human Services until she retired. She joined Mason Temple at an early age and was baptized. Eileen had testimonies to share of God's greatness, as she knew Him as her personal Savior. One of her favorite scriptures she would quote is "This is the day that the Lord has made and I will rejoice and be glad in it." Psalm 118:24. After 55 years on this earthly journey, our beloved has entered into Gods' rest. Hebrews 4:9-12, and she has received her Crown.
