Eileen R. Zidek

On Tuesday, March 19, 2024, Eileen R. (Kober) Zidek, age 90, of Baldwin Borough, passed away. Beloved wife of 37 years to the late Joseph J. Zidek; loving mother of Rose (Ron) Loeffler, Steve (Julie) Zidek, Mike Zidek and John Zidek; grandmother of James (Wenny), Danielle (Ricky), Jon (Lauren), Ken (fiancée Doga) and Michael; great-grandmother of Blake, Kaila, and Grant; sister of Joanne (the late Joe) Dezzutti; also survived by nieces and nephews. Eileen loved to travel, and had visited 41 of the 50 states. She was a devoted and active member of Nativity Church, where she was a Eucharistic Minister. She also enjoyed walking in her free time, and was often seen making laps around South Park and Jefferson Cemetery. Friends received Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the GRIFFITH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 5636 Brownsville Road, (at 6th St.) South Park Twp. (412) 655-4600.
