Eilene was born on November 16, 1931 in Loyal, WI. At 6 years old her family moved to a farm in Bakerville, WI. At 14 she became a live-in nanny for a family in Marshfield. After obtaining her driver's license she started working at Weinbrenner shoes until the time of her marriage to Peter Weber on October 25, 1950. They farmed together in the Town of Lincoln until his passing in October 2000, just short of 50 years together. She also worked seasonally at Figi's and Central WI State Fair entry office with her sister Val Hanson.

Eilene was a member of Corpus Christi Church where she helped with PCCW activities for many years of her life. Prayer was very important to her well-being, and she spent many hours in the adoration chapels praying for her family, stating it was the best hour of her week.
