Elaine Davis was born on November 7, 1963, in Oakland, California. She passed away on October 19, 2023.
Elaine was known for her loving personality. She truly enjoyed being around her family. She loved her family and friends dearly, and she loved being a grandma. She was an animal lover and her two cats, Snowy and Rainy were family to her. Elaine enjoyed a number of different things from swimming to riding motorcycles, to listening to music and attending concerts. A few of her favorite bands were Def Leppard, Led Zeppelin, and Poison. She would joke that the only person she would ever leave Doug for, would be Brett Michaels.
Elaine was blessed to have a great job at Blue Cross Blue Shield that she loved and had coworkers that she loved, and they loved her back.
She is preceded in death by her father; Steven Baker, a step-father who she adored; James Shelton, the father of her kids; Jerry Williams and ex-husband; Joe Davis.
She is survived by her mother; Patricia LaQue, pops; Jimmy LaQue, fiancée; Doug Lee, daughters; Brittany Miller, Heather Murray, Brandi Lee, step-son; Benson Lee, grandchildren; Mercedes, Jeremiah, JoJo, Aiden, Bailey, River, Adrianna, Jewel, Byrum and many other loving family and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 3, 2023 at Butler-Stumpff & Dyer Funeral Home Chapel at 2pm. Family has requested that you wear a band t-shirt, if you are able. It is not a requirement, just a way to help honor Elaine.
