Elaine Fratto Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Summers Funeral Home - Ustick Chapel - Meridian on Feb. 26, 2026.
Elaine B Fratto, age 84, passed away peacefully at St. George Hospital following a serious stroke.

Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to William Delos Jensen and Margaret Loraine Jensen, Elaine was known for her beauty, kindness, and generosity. She touched many lives with her gentle and giving nature.

Elaine had a deep love for the outdoors and was an avid golfer. Despite standing at just tour feet eleven inches tall, she made a big impression on everyone she met through her radiant smile and warm personality.

Her competitive spirit on the golf course was matched only by her kindness off it. Elaine's small stature was more than compensated for by her infectious positivity and the joy she brought to those around her.

Elaine had been a member of Black Hawk country club Danville Ca, Spurwing country club Meridian, Idaho and the Oasis golf club Mesquite Nevada.

Elaine met her childhood sweetheart, Max Fratto, at Evergreen Junior High School. Their love blossomed early, and they married at a young age. Together, they shared 66 wonderful years of marriage, building a life filled with love and devotion.

Elaine and Max were blessed with four incredible sons: Glen, Brent (Jenn), Scott, and Todd.

She cherished her family above all else and took great pride in being a devoted mother.

Elaine was preceded in death by her sons Glen and Todd, whom she lovingly remembered always.

Elaine was also part of a lively and loving extended family, including Dick (Sonja), Lois (Ron) Morgan, Barbara (Dave) Dalton, and Janet (George) Scarlet. Together, they shared many joyful memories and supported one another through life's challenges.

Whenever she answered the phone, it was always a cheerful Hi There!

Max always said, "I did a lot of things right and a lot of things wrong but the rightest thing I ever did was to marry Elaine!"

We want to Thank the St. George Regional Hospital for their professional and care they provided.

Elaine and Max spend their summers in Meridian ID. where she will be buried at a private family service.
