Elaine Gowder, a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and cousin, passed away peacefully on August 10, 2025, at her home in Maysville, Georgia. Born on December 17, 1961, Denise was a significant presence in the lives of those who knew her, known for her kindness, dedication, and unwavering spirit.

Elaine was a devoted manager at Triple L Gas Co., where her leadership and commitment to her work earned her the respect of colleagues and customers alike. Her strong work ethic was only matched by her devotion to her family and friends.

She leaves behind her loving father, Harold Travis Gowder; her caring brother, Audry Dean (Connie) Gowder; her cherished nephew, Noah Gowder; her special cousin, Tammy Veal Creed; and a number of other relatives who will miss her dearly. Elaine was also preceded in death by her beloved mother, Lucy Grace Carlan Gowder, and her son, Chris Heulett.

A graveside service will be held in her honor on August 13, 2025, at Solid Rock Baptist Church Cemetery in Maysville, Georgia, beginning at 2:00 PM with Rev. Jeremy Carlan officiating.

The family extends a special thank you to her dedicated care team: Elizabeth, Tricia, April, Whitney, Becky, and Tammy whose compassion and support have been invaluable. Elaine's legacy will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and the countless ways she uplifted those around her.
