Elaine Sue Knop Lockwood
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Elaine Sue Knop Lockwood on July 4, 2024 in Carmel, Indiana. Elaine was born on June 10, 1939 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Elaine was a graduate of Plainfield High School. She was a Homemaker and Mental Health Advocate. She enjoyed oil painting and gardening. She loved dogs and had many pets throughout the years.
She was preceded in death by Mother Alice Spies Knop and Father, Martin Joe Knop.
She is survived by 3 daughters, Dawn Accavetti (Frank), Kelly Campbell (Larry), Terry Jackson (Rick) 6 grandchildren, Briana Gunnell Lindsey, Brenden Gunnell, Tyler Stuck, Alexandra Stuck Labadie, Samantha Campbell Joers and Ian Campbell as well as 8 great grandchildren; Drew, Joey, Anya, Charlie, Poppy, Jacob, Julian and Colton.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 2nd from 11 AM to 12noon, at Carlisle Branson Funeral Service & Crematory in Mooresville, Indiana, with a memorial service beginning at 12noon Friday in the funeral home.
Because her animals were so very dear to her therefore in lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in her name to the Hendricks County Humane Society, 3033 E Main St., Danville, IN 46122.
