Elaine Ostrander Obituary
Elaine H. Ostrander, age 86, of Weyauwega, passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2023, at Theda Care Hospital in Waupaca. She was born on June 26, 1937, in Eastman, WI, daughter to the late Donald and Irene (Reed) O'Connell.
On July 14, 1956, she married her high school sweetheart, Donald R. Ostrander. Elaine worked at several places in Weyauwega and Fremont. Recently, she was retired and living at Bethany in Waupaca.
She is survived by her children: Jeff (Polly) Ostrander, Brenda Petit, Barry (Sandy) Ostrander, Carla (Roy) Kester; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Ostrander; daughter, Denita Taber; son-in-law, Luke Petit; brothers, Ed and Bill O'Connell; sisters, Armilla Hilger and Camilla Lathrop.
The Funeral Mass for Elaine will be held on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Weyauwega, with Fr. Kris Mekala officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Weyauwega. A visitation for Elaine will be held at the church on Wednesday from 9:00 AM until 10:45 AM.
