Elaine Payne Teasley was born on June 13, 1955 in Toccoa, GA to the late Henry and Bessie G Payne. She was proceeded in death by her parents and her siblings, Lizzie Mae Payne, Grady Payne and Claudette Scott.
On March 29, 1975, she united in holy matrimony with the love of her life, Joseph Buck Teasley. From this union, 2 children were born; Dale Teasley and Tiffanie LaBoon.
Elaine spent her early years working at Milliken and Vermont American while earning her degree at North GA Technical College. She then spent the rest of her working years at Pruitt Health where she was a Medicaid Billing Specialist.
Elaine joined Mt. Zion Baptist Church at an early age where she was a life long dedicated member. She served as a choir director and as the secretary to the pastor for many years. Elaine was very passionate about her family and spoiling her grandkids, she brought joy to countless people through her contagious smile and laugh. She enjoyed sowing into others through her acts of kindness and a variety of spiritual gifts.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband of 50 years, Joseph Buck Teasley, her children Dale (Lisa) Teasley of Braselton GA, Tiffanie (Sandy) LaBoon of Toccoa, GA, 5 grandchildren, Dra (Brittany) LaBoon, Tangie Richie, Ni LaBoon, Scoot Teasley, Desmin Teasley, 2 great grandchildren, Heaven and Kiki LaBoon. 3 sisters; Janice Byrd, Linda Drinkard, Vickie (Robin) Walker, 4 sister in laws, Alberta Teasley, Lorraine Crawford, Marylou Oglesby and Marynell Teasley and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.
