Elbert White Jr., "Bubba" 84 of Russellville, Arkansas, went home Monday, September 22, 2025 surrounded by his family. He was born January 21, 1941 in Forrrest City, Arkansas to Elbert Sr. and Beulah White.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Clarence Buchanan; three brothers, Jessie White, L.D. White, Jimmie White; two sisters, Elnora Blackwell and Bettie White Brown.
He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Addie R White; three children, Connie White, Billy Norton, Kathleen Likely; grandson, Troy Norton; great granddaughter, Kyerra Norton; siblings, Perly Mae Anderson, Jerlean Nesbitt, Joyce Martin, Teresa White, James McDaniel and Charles White.
Mr. Bubba was a loving husband and family man. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He took great pride in cutting his grass and could often be seen sitting on his front porch, enjoying the outdoors. He was also active in the Prince Hall Masonic Lodge, an involvement he considered one of his proudest accomplishments. He will be remembered for his commitment to family, his love for the outdoors, and his contributions to his community.
His visitation will be 10-11am Friday September 26th at New Prospect Missionary Baptist Church. The Funeral service will follow at 11:30 with Brother Jerry Linton officiating . Burial will be in Reed Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral.
Pallbearers will be the Prince Hall Masons.
