It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Eliberto Salinas, age 93, on September 21, 2025. Eliberto lived a full and meaningful life, touching the hearts of all who knew him with his kindness, dedication, and love for family.
Born on October 17, 1931, Eliberto was the beloved son of Ascension Salinas and Maria Lopez. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy, demonstrating the same commitment and honor that would define his character throughout his life.
Eliberto found great joy in life's simple pleasures. He was an accomplished woodworker, creating beautiful pieces with his skilled hands, and tended to his garden with care and patience. Above all, he treasured the time spent with his family, especially the memorable trips that brought everyone together and created lasting memories.
He was preceded in death by his cherished wife, Amelia Bravo Salinas, and his loving parents, Ascension Salinas and Maria Lopez.
Eliberto's legacy lives on through his surviving family: his son Larry Salinas and wife Ann, along with their children Jared, EJ, Jason, Robert, and Neal, and great-grandchildren Justin and Jayden. He is also survived by his son Russell Salinas and wife Sheila, their children Tara Waddell and husband Tim, Sean, Kyle and wife Andrea, and Christian, as well as great-grandchildren Nixon, Weston, Kennedi, Presli, Jake, Olivia, Ashford and Amelia.
His memory will be cherished by his siblings Carmen Martinez, Armando and Theresa Salinas, and Irma and Artie Oviedo. He is also survived by his extended family: brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Pat and Olga Bravo, Lina and Ken Evans, Norma and Johnny Gonzales, Alma and David Rodriguez, and Maggie Bravo, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Eliberto's warmth, wisdom, and unconditional love will forever remain in our hearts. His life was a testament to the values of hard work, family devotion, and service to others. Though we will deeply miss his presence, we find comfort in knowing that his spirit will always be with us, guiding and inspiring us in the years to come.
He will always be with us in our hearts.
