Elda Orsini Obituary
"Loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt"
Elda (Varrone) Orsini, age 97, of Watertown, passed away peacefully June 17, 2025 at Apple Rehabilitation in Watertown. She was the loving widow of Victor Orsini.
Elda was born April 10, 1928 in Pontelandolfo, Benevento, Italy, a daughter of the late Giovanni and Margherita (Calabrese) Orsini. Prior to her retirement in 1990, Elda had worked at a seamstress at the former Watertown Undergarment for over 37 years, she had also worked at Bendix in Cheshire for over four years. She was a communicant of Saint John the Evangelist Church.
She leaves her son Joseph Paul Orsini, two grandchildren Paul Joseph Orsini, Christine Anne Orsini, she was predeceased by her sisters Mariangela Orsini, Angela Longo, Maria Rinaldi and Josephine Varrone as well as her daughter-in-law Pamela Orsini.
Arrangements: Funeral services and burial are private and at the convenience of her family. Chase Parkway Memorial/Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway Waterbury is assisting her family with arrangements.
