Eldefonso Duarte Obituary
Fonso was born on September 27, 1956 in Superior, Arizona to Bertha and Eldefonso Duarte. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend who touched the lives of many with his kindness, humor, and unwavering love for his family.
Fonso worked for many years at Guzman Construction, where he spent most of his career as a batch plant manager. One of the projects he was most proud to work on was the construction of the Roosevelt Lake Bridge. Outside of work, he enjoyed spending time outdoors, hunting, coaching, participating in community events, and sharing stories with those he loved. He especially cherished time spent with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela Duarte; his children, Billy, Nathan, (Janeen), Eldefonso "Fonzy"; his grandchildren, Lindsay, McKenna, Nathan Jr., Zachery, Ryland, Noelle, and El Jay; his brothers Louie Duarte, Joe Olivas, his sisters Juanita Richardson, and Rachel Montoya. He was proceeded in death by his parents, his sister Loretta, and brother Ernest.
Fonso will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
