Elder Dr. Fernando "Randy" Geddie, Sr., 66, of 122 Eastwood Avenue, Fayetteville, passed away on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at 2pm at Bethel Christian Assembly, 1065 Progress Street, Fayetteville. Burial will be at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery at a later date.

He is survived by his children, Orlando Fennell and Rolando Geddie, both of Fayetteville, Tameka Grooms and Fernando Geddie, Jr., both of Winston Salem, Portia Baker of Wilmington and Tony Harris of Greensboro. Sisters, Sheridena Williams of Fayetteville and Susan Graves (Kenneth) and Ingrid Lias (Larry), both of Arlington, TX. Brothers, Wekesa Madzimoyo (Afyia) of Stone Mountain, GA, James David Tucker of Brooklyn, NY and Tim McCormick and John McCormick, both of Fayetteville, along with twenty-two grandchildren and three goddaughters.

A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Friday, September 12, 2025 from 5-7pm.
