Eldon, age 89, of Lexington, MN passed away on December 25, 2025, following a courageous struggle with Parkinson’s disease.
Eldon was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Ruth (Alexanderson) Frisk, and brothers, LeRoy Frisk and Bernard Frisk.
He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Joan; children David (Julie) Frisk, Daniel (Tosha) Frisk, Kelli (Tim) Peterson, and Debbie (Josh) Kunze; 9 grandchildren — Karlee (Richard) Anderson, Brandon (Tovah) Peterson, Justine Frisk, Sean Frisk, Kaylin (Cody) Yngsdal, Ryan Frisk, Aaron (Roberta) Frisk, Ellie Kunze, and Lillian Kunze; seven great-grandchildren; and siblings Bonnie Roehrs, Ramona (Patrick) Helms, Jeanine (Tom) Dunlap, Jack (Rhonda) Frisk, Gordy (Patricia) Frisk, and Charlie (Liza) Frisk.
Eldon grew up in Waseca, Minnesota, and graduated from Waseca High School. He continued his education at Rochester Technical College and Dunwoody Institute, where he earned an engineering degree. He later helped run radio and television repair shops in southern Minnesota before beginning a long career with Control Data, where he worked as an engineer until his retirement in 1999.
Eldon had a lifelong love of classic cars. He enjoyed restoring and working on them, attending car shows and club events, and traveling to participate in car club gatherings and shows. He was a proud member of several car clubs, including MSRA, Capital City, Twin City Model A, and Kaiser/Fraser. He also cherished his cats.
A memorial service will be held at Together Place Church, 3860 Flowerfield Rd., Circle Pines, MN, on Saturday, January 17, at 11:00 a.m, with lunch to follow.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.
He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family and all who knew him.
