Elvena Frisk Obituary
She leaves behind her three beloved children, Tanna (Duane Miles), Gail (Marge Watson), and Tina (Bob Gaines), along with her well loved grandchildren: Cassie, Jake (Kayte Miles), Josh (Kelsey Bradley), Brentney (Mark Fernandez), Kaden (Dusty Crumpler), Yvonne (Terry Hill), as well as 11 grandchildren.
Kay was a woman of remarkable individuality. She lived life with a unique sense of independence, embracing each moment as it came. Known for never meeting a stranger, she had a gift for making friends everywhere she went-even in the grocery store checkout line. Her vibrant personality was matched by her love for bright colors, her love for her grandchildren, and her relaxed, easygoing nature. Kay found joy in simple pleasures: picnics, endless cups of coffee, spirited card games, a well-told story, and the timeless rhythms of rock 'n' roll.
Fearless in her pursuits, Kay followed her interests wherever they led. Her professional life was as varied as her personal one, culminating in a career as a police officer in Aurora, CO Police Department, from which she retired. Her legacy is one of adventure and a life fully lived, she will be missed.
