Eleanor J. Brown, age 84, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2024 at her home.

Celebration of Life will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, July 25, 2024 at First Baptist Church, Clarksville. Dr. Roger Freeman will officiate. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 from 4-7 p.m. at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home and again on Thursday from 9 a.m. until the hour of service at the church.

Eleanor entered this life on June 2, 1940 in Trenton, Ky to the late Paul and Estelle Robertson Sisk. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Clarksville where she taught Pre-School Sunday School class, and was active in the choir. Eleanor was a talented nurse, having spent many years caring for many patients. She was also a dedicated supporter of Hope Pregnancy Center.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie D. Brown, and siblings, Gayle Willis, and Robert Sisk, and grandchildren, Ethan, Lucy, and Freeman.

Survivors include her sons, Kevin (Debbrah) Brown, and Kent (Carolyn) Brown; grandchildren, Kenton (Kimberlee) Brown, Micah Brown, and Sarah Grace Brown, and two great-grandchildren, Elijah and Wyatt Brown; sisters, Betty Murdock, and Vivian Moore.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Kenton Brown, Micah Brown, Paul Aguirre, Ben Flanick, AJ Jones, Dave McNeill, Byron Sutherland, Leigh Tunstall and Jeff Winningham.
