Eleanor Foster Crist, age 90, passed peacefully at her home March 7, 2025. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Gordon Crist, parents Louis & Nora Foster, brother & sister in-law Raymond & Mary Jeanne Foster, nephew Raymond Foster Jr.
Left to celebrate her wonderful life are her children Jamie & Linda Crist, Tim & Bridget Crist, Julieray & Jeff Romano; grandchildren Adam Crist (Kelly Douglass), Maryellen Knight (Denzel), Lindsay Crist, Erin Crist (Mike Mattison), Jake and Victoria Romano; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Eleanor was born and raised in Gates New York, graduating from Spencerport High School and started her career working at Eastman Kodak. She married the love of her life, Gordon, in 1959, and they made their home in Spencerport, where they raised their 3 children. Always involved in her children’s activities, Eleanor thrived on being the best mom ever and that included all her ‘Webster Road kids.’ In 1978, she went back into the work force, settling at Condor Electronics and retiring in 2021 after 40 years. She was involved with her church for many years and rarely missed zoom service after she could no longer drive. Eleanor always put forth her amazing smile and positive attitude, all the while helping others whenever possible. Last year she happily celebrated her 90th birthday and told everyone she had the best time ever! While her body was tired, her unbelievable spirit will live on forever and she will be missed more than words could describe. She told her children & grandchildren to not mourn for her when she passes as she had the most magical life someone could ask for.
