Marion Maas
At the age of 97, Marion has been welcomed into her eternal home on November 19, 2025. She was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Edward Maas. Marion was also predeceased by her brothers, George and John Pfromm and her sister Estelle Eckl. She is survived by her daughters, Doreen German (Michael), Deborah Maas, Johanna Kilpatrick, and Ruth Reed (David), several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and several nieces and a very special cousin Emma Wagner in Germany. Marion was known as Nana Maas to the Noronha family. Marion worked for Taylor Instruments at 16yrs old making thermometers and compasses for WWII where she met her husband. Marion worked at The Holiday Shop in Spencerport for 20 years. She also volunteered at North Baptist Church for the Good News Jail and Prison Ministry each week for 25 years. Marion had a gift for making wedding cakes and catering many wedding and dinners over the years. She also had a passion for gardening and her beautiful flowers. Her generosity was exceptional as she always did for others. The family extends their deepest gratitude to the Aurora House and Rochester Regional Hospice.
A celebration of life will be planned at a later date in 2026.The family requests in lieu of flowers, that donations be sent to the Aurora House 2495 S. Union St Spencerport, NY 14559
