Eleanor J. DeManche

Eleanor J. DeManche, 95, of Haverhill, passed away while vacationing in Florida.
She was born in Haverhill on September 2, 1929, daughter of the late Horace L. and Vesta J. (Hinds) Burgess. Eleanor was a loving mother, friend, neighbor and worker.
Eleanor worked at the IRS and was currently working for Whittier Health Services. She loved work, playing cards and dancing.
She is survived by her daughters Denise A. Fountaine & husband Robert of Haverhill & Dunedin, FL, Jean Kantzian and husband Harry of Haverhill; son Jon DeManche of San Diego, CA, grandchildren Roberto A. Fountaine and wife Alida of Billerica, Stephen K. Fountaine of Hiram, ME, Elizabeth DeManche of San Diego, CA; great grandchildren Cale, Sean, Ritchie & Olivia of Billerica, Dominick & Daisy of San Diego, CA and brother-in-law Daniel Kelleher of Dover, NH. She leaves behind many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.
Eleanor was predeceased by her daughter Donna DeManche, son Curt DeManche, siblings Ruth Buchikos, H. Don Burgess and Louise Kelleher.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her visitation on Friday, March 21 from 9:30-11 at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St., Haverhill. Her funeral service will follow at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Linwood Cemetery, Haverhill.
