Dianne Williams, 72, longtime resident of Newburyport, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of November 14, 2025.

Born and raised in Newburyport, Dianne was the beloved daughter of the late Elmer and Rose Williams. She attended Immaculate Conception School and was a proud graduate of Newburyport High School, Class of 1971. Dianne went on to attend Curry College and later completed her degree in education at Salem State University.

Dianne dedicated her professional life to the students of Newburyport, working for many years as a Title One teacher at Rupert A. Nock Middle School. She was also employed as a customer service representative for Walmart.

She is survived by her brother, Richard Williams, and his wife Mary Lou of Salisbury, MA; her niece, Bethany Noseworthy, and husband Richard of Salisbury; her nephew, Todd Williams; and her great-nephew, Kalan Noseworthy, also of Salisbury.

Funeral Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 19 in Immaculate Conception Parish, 42 Green Street, Newburyport, MA beginning at 10:30 AM. Private interment will take place at Saint Mary's Cemetery, in Newburyport. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Boys & Girls Club of Lower Merrimack Valley, in Salisbury.
