Doris Mae Williams

Doris Mae Williams, 93 of York, PA, passed Saturday, November 15, 2025, at the Penn State Health Holy Spirit Medical Center in Camp Hill, PA. Born on May 30, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Margaret Weber Patton. She was the wife of the late James Reese Williams who died in 2000.

Years ago, Doris worked at Carroll County General Hospital in the Dietary Dept. She was a member of the Owings Mills Vol. Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary. She was former member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Manchester, MD. Doris loved playing bingo, watching the Baltimore Orioles play and listening to country music.

She is survived by her children: Chris Williams and wife Marta of Manchester, MD, Dave Williams and wife Alice of Hanover, PA and Sheila Gohn and husband William of York, PA., grandchildren: Justin, Jeremy, Jonathan, Jessica, Rebecca, Christopher, Zachary, Taylor, Stacie and Justin “Bubby” and siblings: Nancy Mitchell of Baltimore, MD and Rose Jenkins of Hereford, MD.

She was predeceased by 7 siblings.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Dr., Manchester, MD from 9:30am until the start of the funeral service at 10:30am. The Rev. Jim Crocker will officiate.

Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Park, Sykesville, MD.
