Eleanor “Emmy” Hammond Sullivan, 50, of Pittsburgh, formerly of Boston, Massachusetts, passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2025, in UPMC Montefiore, Pittsburgh.
She was born on December 27, 1974, in Charlottesville, Virginia, the daughter of Mary Ellen Humphreys Klein.
Emmy attended Hingham High School in Hingham, Massachusetts, and Catholic University of America in Washington, DC.
She was employed as a manager at Murray Avenue Grill in Squirrel Hill.
Emmy enjoyed reading, cooking, listening to music, reality television, and spending time with her children.
Surviving are her children, Theodore Gale Sullivan, and Lillian Eleanor Sullivan; two sisters, Emily, and her husband Aime Diop, and Liz Sullivan; a brother, Brian Allenbaugh, and his husband Antonio King; two nieces, Anna Diop, and Sarah Diop; and many friends and family.
Deceased is her grandmother, Eleanor Hammond.
Arrangements are private and entrusted to William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., Washington.
