A woman of remarkable character, Eleanor was known for her loving nature, friendly demeanor, and unwavering faith. Her hands, always busy, crafted the world's best peanut brittle and pies that were the highlight of many family gatherings. A skilled quilter, she poured love into every stitch, creating warm memories along with her beautiful quilts. Eleanor's lullabies and gentle 'La-La-La' could soothe any child, and her rocking chair was rarely still, as she delighted in the comfort of her children, grandchildren, and beyond.
Eleanor's love for all creatures was evident in her daily ritual of feeding the animals, both wild and domestic, that visited her home. Her world-class garden was not only a source of beauty but also provided bountiful harvests that she transformed into delicious canned goods. Known affectionately as a professional coffee drinker, Eleanor's kitchen was a hub of conversation and camaraderie, where friends and family were always welcome.
Eleanor's life was a living example of the virtues she held dear. Her loving presence will be profoundly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
