The staff of Heishman Funeral Home/Valley Funeral Service sends condolences to the family of Eleanor Rose Hart. Eleanor Rose Hart, 85, of Mount Jackson, passed away Wednesday, August 20, 2025, in Delray Beach, Florida. A graveside service will be held Saturday, August 30, at 11:00 a.m. at Grace United Church of Christ Cemetery in Mt. Jackson. Pastor Stephanie Heishman-Litten will officiate. Eleanor was born April 9, 1940, in Philadelphia, PA., daughter of the late Bedros Peter Takakjy and Mae Glass Takakjy. She was married to the late William "Bill" James Buchanan. G-Mom, as she was often called, was known to do silly things and laugh at herself along with everyone else. She loved traveling, cooking, doing crafts, and spending time with her grandchildren, and could always be found playing games on her iPad or at the bingo hall. She is survived by her children, Yvonne Arizzi (Ernest) of Florida, Veronica Williams (Bruce) of Washington, Deborah Devaney (Thomas) of North Carolina and Robert Hart (Jennifer) of New Jersey; grandchildren Michael, Becky, Nicholas, Erica, Joseph, Andrew, Ryan, Megan and Morgan; two sisters, Patricia Perrigo (Charles) of Florida, Barbara Miller (Richard) of New Jersey; brother, Ronald Takakjy (Susan) of Pennsylvania; 6 great grandchildren. Online condolences may be left at valleyfs.com Arrangements are in the care of Heishman Funeral Home Inc., Valley Funeral Service Branch, Edinburg.
